Ep 6

Plot of Bref.06 J'ai traîné sur internet.

The main character is bored, so like everyone else who has nothing to do, he goes on the internet.

He checks emails—nothing. Checks Facebook—nothing. He even breaks his keyboard’s “Q” key by mashing it too hard. Then, he notices tiny drawings on a nearby sign and wonders if someone actually got paid to design them.

Suddenly, something exciting happens: a girl he met at a party accepts his friend request. He stalks her profile—scrolling through her photos but only finding boring ski pictures. Then he notices that she likes The Simpsons and Daft Punk, which makes him happy… until he realizes everyone likes The Simpsons and Daft Punk.

His friend Kheiron starts texting him nonstop, asking “Are you gonna sleep with her?” via every possible channel: email, tweet, text. He ignores him, but Kheiron even messages the girl pretending to be nice, then instantly texts him again.

While checking her tagged photos, he realizes one guy appears in almost all of them—probably her boyfriend. His roommate walks in and asks for chocolate, then sees him stalking the girl’s profile. Without saying a word, they both understand what’s happening. His roommate, realizing the situation is awkward, just says, “I’ll get another snack.”

Bref. He wasted time on the internet.
