Ep 1

Plot of Bref.01 J'ai dragué cette fille.

The main character spots a girl at a party and tries to flirt with her. He awkwardly asks several people if she is single, but no one gives him a straight answer. He tries making a joke—she laughs at the first one but not the second. A guy named Steve shows up, and the protagonist assumes he’s her boyfriend, but he’s just a friend.

Later, he notices a piece of caramel popcorn on her shoulder and wonders how it got there. They start talking, but he gets nervous and mumbles about his sick mother to hide an explicit message his friend Kheiron sends him. She goes outside to smoke, and even though he hates cigarettes, he follows her because he hates being alone more. She keeps blowing smoke in his face while they talk. Eventually, she asks if she can have his phone number, which he takes as a small victory because he’s been waiting to talk to her all night, but she asks him the phone number for her gay friend Steve

In the end, he realizes that the popcorn on her shoulder had been there the whole time. Bref. He tried to flirt with this girl.
